Hi! I'm Danielle.

My favorite thing about taking someone's picture is capturing their truth--either as they see and know it or illuminating a beautiful honesty that they've yet to discover. Portraits happen to be my favorite way to do that!Each of my shoots is tailored to you, your needs, and your desired end product, all while making you feel and look your best. I love being able to focus my attention on your experience as a couple and capturing the rawness of your love. Shooting 'small' allows me to do that at my best :)

What kind of portraits do you take?
From pets to humans (individuals, couples, full[er] families), I shoot all kinds of portraits! A lot of my clients are artists and small business owners.
All of my portraits are natural light, typically taken outdoors.

Where do you work? / Do you travel for destination experiences?
Anywhere you'd like me to be :)
I'm based in Los Angeles and, within California, typically shoot as far north as Santa Barbara and as far south as San Diego. / I also shoot in Central Mexico a couple times of year.

How much do you charge for a session?
Prices per session vary based on your specific needs.
- Portraits sessions range from $100 (pet portraits) to $450 (family photo deluxe package).
- Engagement, elopement, and intimate wedding packages begin at $650 and go upwards of $4,500 for a multi-day package.
NOTE: Sessions outside of Los Angeles may incur additional travel and/or lodging fees (all to be discussed before confirming your booking).

What's included? / How quickly will I get my photos after our shoot?
ALL SESSIONS INCLUDE A DOWNLOADABLE AND PRINTABLE HIGH RESOLUTION DIGITAL PHOTO GALLERY.
The number of photos ranges based on the booking type.Portraits are typically delivered within 1 week, but may take up to 2 weeks.
The turnaround times for a full wedding gallery is approximately 4 weeks.
A session preview will be delivered to you within 1 week.

What's required from me to reserve my session/date?
Message me to schedule a consultation on the 'Book Now' page.For PORTRAITS: We'll confirm your shoot details over email. Once you've paid your deposit/shoot fee, you're all set!For WEDDINGS/ELOPEMENTS/ENGAGEMENTS: We'll talk to see if we're a good fit. If we are (either deciding on the spot or you can email me when you're ready to reserve a date), I'll send you a booking link to reserve your date, sign your contract, and to pay your retainer fee (which is 50% of your package price). Then we're all set until your final payment is due, 2 weeks before your big day!

What happens if I need to cancel?
We'll talk more about this over email (for portraits) or in our consultation call (weddings/elopements/engagements), but in short:
If rescheduling is not possible, then your deposit can be refunded to various amounts depending upon when you cancel in relation to your scheduled shoot date. Extenuating circumstances do happen, so feel free to reach out with any concerns you may have.

How far in advance should I book?
The more advance the merrier so I can make sure I'm available for your special day!
Ideally, portrait sessions would be booked with at least a 2 week notice, weddings with a 4 month notice, and elopements/engagements with a 6 week minimum notice.Reach out to me anytime and I'll see if I can make some room for last minute requests.

Do you offer prints?
Yes, I can help coordinate printing of photos into various physical modes!
Examples include: photo books, canvas, high quality prints to frame, wedding take aways, etc.
